I usually just close my eyes and think of Hannie's boyfriend.
Just kidding.
Actually, I've found that getting in a comfortable position and breathing deeply, while counting your breaths, helps immensely. In a sequence, relax your jaw, neck, shoulders and back with each breath.
Or you could just drink 3 beers and have a bowl of cereal. That does the trick too.

Pillow over the face, then I start creating a story in my head that will get me to stop thinking about the day, or the next day for that matter.
