What monopoly properties must you have?

I always go for the reds, yellows and greens.. ie fleet street coventry street bond street etc

FTR, Kelly R has the British edition of Monopoly. Anyway, all things being equal, give me the Oranges. It is the most frequently visited of all the monopolies. Being 6, 8 and 9 spaces away from Jail (Gaol), the most landed on space, helps.

I shoot for the Reds & the Oranges as they're properties that most player statistically land on. Reds (or as I like to call them "The Red-light District") are usually better for faster-paced games while the Oranges ("The Power of Orange") are usually better for slower-paced games.

If you can completely secure the corner around Free Parking, you can become a very powerful opponent who can take a few hits from the Dark Blue properties... which are a bit over-hyped, but they're good for trading fodder.

I go for the reds and yellows too. Greens aren't bad, but they're expensive to build on. I don't waste my time with Boardwalk or Park Place because your opponents only have two possible spaces to land on.

blue green and red. Biggest income when you get the hotels. But the point of the game is that you want everything. So it doesnt matter what color. Just get everything

I always try to get the utilities, the railroads, Board Walk and Park Place.

The browns - New York, Tennesee Ave, etc.; They have the largest gain to price ratio.

If you get a hotel there players cant go through the GO sign and get there money without paying you
