Keywords like "proxy" or "unblock" will definitely blocked by the admin of your school's network. However, you can do the "homework" yourself. Get yourself a few working proxies at home and bring them to school. When you've finished work at school, you can use the proxies to unblock the web then. Samples are:

Be sure to share with your friends so others can enjoy as well!
Have a nice day! :P
BTW, don't do something breaking the school's rule. :D

There's a constant arms race between the idiots who make the filter and the smart people who get around it with any holes being patched up as they are discovered so if you need to get past the filter you've got to try something different pretty much every time.

I'd recommend that you try to do what you can from an unfiltered connection (where you won't have to put up with blocking).

Get on the internet when you get home and have no filters... those filters are there for a reason, so kids don't waste their time on myspace and other stupid things. u might try www.meebo.com for IM but that is pretty obvious
