Because for some reason, woman like guys who are taller and stronger then they are. It seems to be what most woman dream of in dating.

I prefer a man taller than me... However, I am only 5 3" so that should not be difficult or an unrealistic expectation... God bless****

I don't want to tower over my man! That makes me feel like a monster! He has to be at least 2 inches taller than me WITH HEELS!!!

I think its more of a primal thing. A taller man equals a safe man- one who can protect his loved one easily. argh i can't think of the right words without sounding like a complete dick... I'll get back to you!

Being one of those women that does, i can't really tell why but i would guess its probably because
a) better hugs/snuggles
b)like the man to be the stronger/more dominant one
Its just one of those features where people sometimes have strong preferences.
Eg. Hair colour, weight and ...HEIGHT!

I'm short myself so any man smaller than me would only be about 8 years old. Seriously I have never met a man smaller than me!

I don't care about height as long as he's at least as tall as me - an inch or two shorter might be ok. I'm 5'8 so it would be weird to date a guy who's like 5'3.

women are hard wired to pick the best mate to breed with being taller make sit more likely that he will be an alpha male
