Sometimes, yes I do :)

Yes. Especially when I was living in Portugal. They were a very closed, tight, family -orientated society, who, although superficially friendly to outsiders, always kept to mainly to themselves and I was rarely involved with any of them, except for one, who became my girlfriend, who was very unusual, friendly and open, unlike the others. Now I'm living in Ireland, it feels like I have been readily accepted by the Irish people, into their homes and lives, but there is a different feeling of being a strange in a strange land here. We all feel it - the Irish also. There is a general-consensus that the country has been taken from the people, by their government and the bankers. This has been especially exacerbated by the farce which was the second referendum on the Lisbon treaty (after the people had already voted no), where everyone was given pencils to vote with (so the votes could be changed) and the ballet-boxes were not kept guarded before the count. After hundreds of years of fighting and dying for a soverign-republic, the nation of Ireland has been handed to the Nazi-EU super-state, without a single shot being fired.

Yes, I have, Starchild,

But only for the 16 years between ages 16 and 32. ;)
By the time I hit mid-to-late-30s, I felt more like a grounded individualist in a strange land. It happens, honest.

My recipe (over-simplified, of course):
♥A generous helping of compassion - especially for self!
♥Equal or greater amounts of self recognition (inner beauty, strength, value, worth... abilities, talent...
♥A dash of self-confidence
♥A pinch of don't-give-a-sh♪t

-Mix well with the Four Agreements and serve any time you d♦mn well please!

Namaste,
-Z
