When did the already dreadful suicide 'copycats' turned into murder-suicide copycats?

It's all just rhethorical, I know the answers are far more complicated than I wish they would be.

If,you could ask them they would probably tell you that they did it to let off steam....and that is the sad reality,especially when children do this against other chldren at school and their
parents haven't 'smelled rat' on time...

These crazies want to be noticed. They can't just kill themselves, they have to take a bunch of people out, so they can be famous. I blame society and the way it glorifies fame. I also blame kids playing endless hours of violent video games.

That's because they should have been locked up when they committed the first crime due to "depression" instead of leaving them out free in society !
This "shooter" from the mall, had committed 8 crimes already !!

Whilst the NRA and its high profile supporters like Charlton Heston exists then this will continue to be a problem as it will be impossible to change US gun laws. (Cue answers with "Constitooshun" and "cold dead hands").
