Because man doesn't live on the moon, so he hasn't had the chance. But we have left trash on the moon... all of the equipment and space junk from all those moon flights...

It won't be exciting at all as moon has no air & no water. Even if you put these things there they will vapourise immediately & escape in space for no return forever. So, we 'd have to depend on oxygen cylinders attached to our closed & sealed moon dresses only which is not useful in the long run. Moon's gravity is 1/6 of the earth which means that if you try to jump for 2 feet above the earth , there you will jump 12 feet above the land & after falling back your feet may break too which too is more dangerous. Moon has no atmosphere & so , no azonosphere around. So, The Sun's ultraviolet radiation absorber's absence will create skin cancer in the long stay. Moon's land is black full of small concretes & sands & is rocky. It's land has no 'humus' so, no plant can be grown even if water & air withstand there. Moon is not safe to live on.
At night , sky will look black instead of blue & the sunrise as well as the sunset will not have red lights in the sky b coz these two phenomena are due to scattering of light while passing through the atmosphere around the planet where you live on. Only the earth visible from the moon in night's darkness will look much bigger than the moon , much brighter & much more shining & beautiful. It's crators & mountains are better looking & attractive. See this on Google image search by typing as : 'Earth view from the moon'. I've seen the same long ago. It is fantastic.

Porbably because no one lives there yet. Don't worry though, im sure in the future if our grandchildren manage to create suitable living conditions up there and move there, we'll trash it and reduce it to nothing just like we are doing down here at the moment.

Oh, but we Have. We've left Tons of multi-million dollar equipment sitting on the surface of the moon. Kinda had to happen, though. Television cameras, lunar rovers (!), American flags, tools, lunar lander base units, and I'm sure there's lots, Lots more. And it's all just sittin', waiting for us to come clean it up :-)
Someday.

Everything in this world is like Hollywood, never happen, only an illusion made by our minds, like life itself.
