the Unrated version acually the rated R version that wasnt released in theatres?

I reccomend checking with aintitcool.com for their resources on this topic. The homepage for the movie might still be up as well. As far as I know the pg-13 one was released in theatres and the unrated is available for rent.

the unrated version is exclusive to dvd and was never shown in cinemas.
The cinema version is infact the original version and infact while watching the unrated version it just looks like the extra swearing has just been badly dubbed over normal words and extra blood spurts are just added cgi blood..

i liked it anyway, thoght it was a great film.

Its called Die Hard 4.0 : - Live Free or Die Hard. The name of the film is Die Hard 4.0, but on the screen after it starts and after the credits the slogan - Live Free or Die Hard comes up.
