I used to be one when I was at school, but I was stripped of my prefect status because I dyed my hair blue.

They do have prefects, i was one but then i had mine taken off me :-( some schools still have head boys and head girls, never understood that one myself!!!

they still have prefects , I'm not one though, too loud. teachers consider me a rebel

yes they stil do.when i was a youngen i was always class capt and then went on to school council and was also school captain,(primary),my 9yr old son is also school council team,i am very proud of him.I enjoyed representing our school for the Anzac march and any other charity events we needed to attend.My son is a lil shy there.cheers :)
