Hi im having probelems with my pc its sooo slow and the internet keeps frezing is there a was i can increase the meamory but if i doen that would it be alot faster or still slow plzz answer me thx u

Either upgrade to a better memory card (512MB is for normal purposes, 1GB if for games and etc.)
Or, buy TweakRAM at http://www.elcor.net/tram.php/
it balances your free memory for your computer usage.

There are several reasons why a PC runs slow>
1. RAM. You should have 512MB for XP and 1GB for Vista. MINIMUM.
2. To many programs running at start up.
Can be controlled by running MSCONFIG.
3. Over bolted security programs taking to much RAM. (Norton)
4. Virus
5. Spyware
6. Fragmented Hard Drive.
7. Hard Drive Full.
8. Faulty Hard Drive.

If you have two separate hard drives (NOT PARTITIONS)you can assign the swap files ( "paging") to the HDD which does not have your operating system on and have no swap files (paging) on your bootable HDD. Try looking up "paging" or "swap files"in your Windows Help. You can probably give yourself 2MB of virtual RAM. If you don't have two HDD's forget it.
