I'm going to make the assumption that you're male. I'm also going to say that if you don't know what it is, you probably shouldn't be looking into it.
For most guys, it's wrapping your hand around your p*nis and rubbing up and down for a few minutes. Doing that might feel good, and if you continue to do it, you might eventually ejaculate (depending on how old you are). Once you do it the first time, it's easier the next, and you'll get better and enjoy yourself more as times goes on. It does take some getting used to, but being honest, if you haven't done it already, maybe you shouldn't start until there's a good reason to. Most teenaged guys do it several times a week.
Keep in mind that if you do start masturbating, don't do it more than once a day or else you could end up damaging the skin on your p*nis. Even though I answered, I have to wonder why you asked. Anyway, don't do it until you're ready to, and good luck.

Just grab you penis and start moving your hand up and down. You should get a really good feeling and it should eventually peak, where you feel a rush of pleasure and an ejaculation of fluids, which are more clear if you are not yet in puberty, and cloudy whitish to yellowish if your body has begun to make sperm. There are many ways to do it, and a bit more ways if you are uncut. So, find out what feels good for you and enjoy. There is no harm from it, but do it about 2 to 3 times a week for maximum pleasure.

More adventurous and dexterous men might be capable of auto-fellatio. Others involve various other body parts... the concept is really to explore your own body and discover what feels right for you.
