Wen it starts it doesnt get much progress from the first 10 minutes and continues to do that till it shuts down.

there is a free programme called cc cleaner which does the same thing. google it :-)

It's right it will take a long time if you haven't done it for a while and will refuse to continue after ??? attempts. I had that prob, refusing to continue after 10 attempts. Try disc cleanup in Safe mode and give it loads of time.

Click on the link below, i had the same problem, corrupted temporary internet file, it tells you how to clean it out, go down the page a bit to where it says, Manual steps to remove temporary files. or there is above that a guided help you can install, that one might be better if you want to be guided through it.

There's probably allot of files on it. mine took about 5 minutes.
You my be a little confused, the green indicator goes about half way and looks like its sticking but its not.

its best to contact microsoft you will find there number on there web site at www.microsoft.com or typ in on google microsoft and it comes up with a free phone number you could call them for advice
