It would have been okay if she said no..we were divorced in 4 years.

Yes and we have been married for 6 years and have two daughters. she responded by saying really loudly several times "REALLY!!" then she said "YES!" and huged me. if she would have said no, I would have probably just went numb because we had 2 more days to spend with my family, (we were at my familys property over 4 hours away from "home")

my sisters husband proposed to her very diverse way. i felt OK, you know why because she has the right to say No

Once - that's all it took. If she had said no I would've been really confused. We both sort of felt it coming.
