we tried it back in the 70's, but people here don't like to change.

On my computer I'm metric, but otherwise I drive 75mph I get 10 Gallons of gas. I get 34mpg and ect.
I'm 52 and I'm too stubborn and unwilling to change. On my puter its a norm. But doing kilometers per hour uhuh not gonna happen.

It happened already, but inbred people in West Virginia started shooting signs that had KM instead of MI so the goernment switched back. Today if we switched again, the same thing would probably happen.

Too late. the Imperial system has been used for too long. Asking the country to change would mean reteaching everyone, young and old. Also changing things that are used in everyday life.
