i have 64 bit processor core 2 duo intel, & intel 946gzis motherboard which supports the motherboard

Video bit depth have no relation to general bit depthness. Having 24 or even 32-bit video depth is more than enough to display all spectrum that a human can tell. General bitness is about how processing is done which is 64 for you.

What for? Even 24 bit per pixel color quality is capable of true colors or 16.77 million colors. The human eye is only capable of discerning up to about 10 million different colors.

maybe you dont have vido card to support 64 bit

You may go to your DOS system setup to change your video setting to 64bit color
