Nowitzki, because he brings more to the table: Scoring, rebounding and solid D. Nique, although a great player, was purely a scorer who didn't play D.

Hey Wayne,

A lot of it would depend on who else you had on your team. If you had someone who could close in the 4th quarter in the post-season then i'd go with Dirk. While Dirk is the better player and is more multi-dimensional than Dominique one thing that Dominique had that Dirk doesn't so far- is the ability to deliver in the post-season.

Dominique had many incredible playoff performances he just happened to run into Larry Bird's Celtics or Michael Jordan's Bulls.

If Dirk could play in the playoffs like Dirk in the regular season-- you'd go with Dirk.

Dirk of course. he's an all around player. he's like even a point guard running down transitions. dominique is known for his crazy dunks but it will not help if they have to run a comeback.

Nowitzki because the guy still works on his weaknesses even though he became MVP

Dirk. As flashy as he was Wilkens was a selfish one dimensional player who wouldn't have played if he couldn't dunk. He cost his teams games cause of bad defense and inability to rebound.
