I'd give your midwife a call or the delivery suite at the hospital.
Just explain how you have been feeling and they will advise you on what to do.
I'm pretty sure though that your body is preparing for labour now.
I had this in the last 5 weeks too, it was an awful pain down below. And i had terrible backache. I rang my midwife and she assured me it was the baby pressing down getting into position ready for being born.Looking back now i think it was because i was carrying a big baby 10lb 40z.
Go to your local supermarket Tesco if you have one near you and invest in a gym ball.
Mine were great i sat on it and bounced to make the baby move down more. Also it's good to lean on and it takes all them aches and pains out of your back.
Definatley give your midwife a call though just to make sure everything is ok.
Good luck.

contact your doctor/hospital/midwife and tell them what is going on. Don't down play it or over-react about it. Tell them straight out what level the pain is, how frequently it is coming and where it is located. Be prepared with an overnight bag for you, hubby and baby.
At 35 weeks you should be carefully monitored with serious pain complaints although baby should be fine. Just get some medical care right now. If you can't get through to your above people on the phone now, just go straight to the hospital.
Best of luck and stay calm! You might be coming straight back home but its best to get checked out anyway.

Your physique is purely making waiting. those pains began for me at 35 weeks too and that i got here across that sitting on a birthing/workout ball helped me. heat baths additionally helped. that's pronounced that if a heat tub would not help alleviate or quit the cramps then it may desire to be labour. I used to get the cramps around midday well-known and that they got here and went each 20-30 minutes. I even have been given ailment and heartburn...similar to early being pregnant! My midwife on the time purely pronounced that it replace into the initiating of labour technique whether it wasn't till 37 + 6 that my waters broke. My mucus plug did expel a week or so after the cramping began however. My little lady additionally moved around alot yet she replace into in the main staggering place, purely no longer engaged. good success :)
