The Magical Mystery Tour was a Double EP & Not Released as an Lp In The UK Until 1976, as people were buying the US lp on Import, one of the few exeptions where the US version was Better.
On the whole the US LPs were poor value . Remember that the English versions were what the Beatles intended , the US versions were Capitols Choice.
Yellow Submarine was a Proper Album as it had songs from the soundtrack of the cartoon on Side 1 & George Martins Orchestral Score on Side 2 .
