Marriage is a blessing if it is with your soul-mate, someone of your type and whom you can understand, spend a happy life with, have kids, bring up a family, etc...
Marriage is not just this, it is also sharing the happy moments together as well as sharing the sorrows... In marriage, when you are sad, there is someone to comfort u, when you are happy, there is someone who share this happiness with u, when you are worried, there is someone to accompany you in your problems through to the solution, when you are married, there is someone you can rely on and trust... etc.
Marriage can truly be a heaven on Earth...
Staying single is another way of living life, but a tougher one... but till you find your soul-mate, it is better to stay single rather than getting married and then getting divorced...

I have already been married....I was married 13 years.
It wasn't bad, in the beginning....but at some point, things got really sour. The financial impact of a divorce is surreal. I paid alimony and child support for nine years. That means nine years of living on low budget, for the most part.
I did meet someone new I was really interested in....and, as usual, for me at least, pursuing a woman was an expensive ordeal and I am now working hard to recover financially from that episode.
LOL, at the moment, I can't afford to date anyone. I barely have enough money to pay my credit card bills racked up from the last time I went looking for love. But I'm relatively happy....I don't feel lonesome or anything.
To get married, you have to have a good relationship; to have a good relationship, you have to find someone through dating. I can't afford dating right now so I am not even remotely close to getting married.

I've been my what ever you want to call him for almost 13 years, we have 3 kids and are not married, nor do we plan on getting married. It is nice to be in a committed relationship that you can count on though. I wouldn't want to just be single for all of my life.

I am getting married, so I guess I would prefer that! But before I actually found someone, I didn't really care either way... I wasn't against marriage but I wasn't out there worrying that I would end up a crazy cat lady either lol!

I'd like to be married to the right person, but I'd rather stay single forever then be in an unhappy marriage.

I am married and I can see the pros and cons of being married and being single. I can definitely see that marriage is not for everyone, because in marriage you have to be willing to put yourself second sometimes for the sake of your relationship. Meaning you have to compromise...and I remember being single which was not for me but I enjoyed being single when I was...

Yes! Get married, have kids, have more kids and in return get all the love in the world!!! There's nothing like family in this world. You could have lovers, boy/girlfriends, friends, officemates, etc but nothing like having your family or your own kids.
