My sister-in-laws brother and wife are coming to our house for Christmas. I know her brother, but I don't know his wife very well. I know she is going though chemo right now. His family fights all the time during the holidays, so he wanted to celebrate somewhere else. I got him a gift I'm sure he'll like. But the problem is, I don't know what his wife likes and what she doesn't like.

I was thanking about getting her a gown, robe, and slippers. What do you think?

The gown, robe and slippers sounds very nice indeed. Another idea is earrings, but you have to find out if she prefers pierced or clip style. Women who are in chemo treatment often feel rather lousy and unpretty, so earrings might add a bright spot to her life.

That sounds like a great gift! I know most women could always use a extra gown and slippers. I'm sure she will appreciate it very much.

The robe set sounds nice as does the earrings. You could try a quilt for the bed, photo albums,or a charm bracelet for her to reflect what shes going through.Think something meaningful.
