Do you tend to be attracted to men with long or short hair in real life?

What about figures in film and entertainment?

Is a mans hair a significant feature of his appearance to you?

I am attracted to men with long hair. Long hair on a man is quite a sight to see--a vision--and a joy to touch. One celebrity who comes to mind is the late great Bob Marley. I can still see in my mind's eye Bob Marley singing and skanking (dancing) ecstatically across the stage in the zone, dreadlocks flying. Wow. Omg. Somebody save me.

The rock and roll musicians I grew up with also come to mind. Powerful, hot, sexy...Yes.

Long hair symbolizes for me freedom. I associate long hair with the kind of unconventional men I love: hippies, beatniks, Rastas, musicians, artists, freethinkers...Very beautiful. Very sexy.

Now and then I am attracted to men who are bald or completely clean-shaven. Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation comes to mind. But I think it was the combination of his voice, his personality, and his clean-shaven head.

I am usually not attracted to men with close-cropped hair. At least not until I get to know them. Sorry, but to me, this style is just so boring and conventional. I associate it with corporate or preppie types. No offense out there, but it's just not my cup of tea. Since I wear my own hair in an afro--a la Greenwich Village or downtown NY nouveau beatnik-- I am sure the feeling is mutual. :) A Wall Street brother would not likely be attracted to me.

some men look good with long hair and some don't. i really don't have a preference. But the length of the hair should not go past shoulder length.
Hair is definitely a significant factor in determining my attraction towards a man.

I notice a man's face and hair, first. I like longer hair than is the current fashion. It speaks to me of a man's individuality. I like that. The only way I don't find long hair appealing is if there is a bald top. I'm working on becoming less superficial and besides, this is all theoretical for me, anyway.
C. :)!!

I tend to be attracted to dark haired men, but I'm open-minded.

As for length, I prefer his hair to be neat and cared for, away from his ears, but not jar-head style. I'm around Army regulation haircuts all the time when I'm working, so at home I want something I can run my fingers through without having my man looking like a beach-bum.

Now, all of these rules are null and void if you are Christian Bale. That man could dye his hair blue for all I care, as long as I could have my way with him.

Is a man's hair a significant feature- Totally.
My Pet Dislikes are:
1. Greasy hair- total turn off.
2. Pony tails- ugh.(Apart from Ewan McGregor's in Star Wars).
3.Balding men who attempt to cover up their baldness by sweeping their hair across their head.
4. Hair with too much gel on it.
My Pet Likes are;
1. Pierce Brosnan's hair- 2 die 4.
2. Jon Bonjovi's hair- wonderful.

this might sound a bit superficial, but a man's hair is by far the most significant feature of his appearance for me! personally, i'm a sucker for long hair...either long and groomed, or even better shoulder-length and a bit retro (preferrably with a nice fringe)....wow! what i can't stand is gelled-up short hair, and bald men aren't a real turn-on for me either.

Have a thing for very close-cropped hair. Either number 1 or 2 gauge on the clippers.
But it's not a huge issue, just has always got my attention.

Oh definitely prefer men with hair..the longer the better...if it's clean. Altho a closely shaven head is handsome if the head is a nice shape and the body is good. Shoulder length or longer, unless it's wispy.

I like men with blonde hair or red hair. I don't really have a length preference, just not too short. I like it kinda "shaggy" (but still clean). And yes, his hair is very important.

The only type of hair I don't like on men are shaved heads. I just don't find it attractive.
