No, and I have a pretty good reason...I was an EMT, then a Paramedic, then took 2 rounds of LPN school...and, when I need a question answered, I call a pharmacist...they know more, much more that people think. Not only are they more familiar with medications than doctors are, but they are the ones who are most familiar with the side effects, adverse reactions, anything concerning medications...they have a Phd., in pharmacology, the doctor's don't...doctors only take courses in pharmacology.

i do especially with my heart problem,breathing and so many kinds of medications i have to take and they always have them free WebMD books,that that let you have at the Dr's.office.

Hi Judas. Yes I have and it has been very informative. I got excellent information about a muscular disease (Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome) I have for a small amount of money. I was very pleased.

Yes but only as a guide line to symptoms. If I am really sick or worried about the symptoms I go to the doctor!

I have a few times,

first time, when I've got chickenpox - i visit my personal MD, but i read and in the web about this illness;
second time, when i was on business trip, and i found by my symptoms which illness i had...

and one or two more times...

Yes I have, Sir. It's a pretty good resource. But you have to be careful not to become a hypochondriac by self-diagnosing too much!

Quite often...I'm always looking up illnesses, mental problems, and PILLS.
Need to know what each of those pills are good for...the ones that mother gave me didn't do anything at all, go ask Alice, when she's 10 feet tall!!!!!!!

Yes. In fact, my own doctor recommends it too. I once lost my sense of tasted and WedMD helped me discovered that it was a known side effect of some medication I was taking. I stopped taking it and my sense of taste eventually returned.
