The program should have easy instructions on how to subscribe. If not, either go to their website or choose another program and subscribe to it instead.
You may prefer to buy a boxed version at a local store, especially if you have a slower connection.

Spinning needs to get Best Answer for posting about "Avast" virus scanner.

Why would you even remotely consider (McAfee) or (Norton) when "Avast Home Edition" is absolutely free and provides great protection against all virus'.

It undates daily, - (automatically) - which is more than I can say for the other scanner companies.

Why everyone in the USA hasn't switch to Avast is way beyond my understanding.

I guess you just ask questions, and someone like Spinner gives you the absolute correct answer and you don't take the advise.

Listen, I have been at this stuff since the beginning and I also recommend Avast. (Home Edition)

Professional edition if you can afford it. But the Home edition is free forever.

Since our friendly software vendors like to get their mits on money, there is usually an option within the program for re-new license. Other times it will tell you, in a little window, usually saying "remind me in 1 day, 7 days, never etc"

Otherwise, go onto the company website and usually there would be a "renew my subscription" button.

Open up your antivirus, there should be a place where it says renew, but here is a tip, i was going to renew mine, but it was cheaper for me to go to a store and buy the latest than to renew online, by about $34, no joke.

delete your antivirus and get Avast. www.avast.com . avast it's a wonderful free antivirus that is offered to combat the growing number of ppl who spread viruses unknowingly because they can't afford antivirus, or because their subscription has expired and they don't know it. It's an amazing antivirus, and it doesn't slow your computer like norton does.

Several antivirus programs actually release their antivirus definitions free, what you pay for is the automatic updates. I used to get norton updates by going to cnet.com and going to their download section and searching for norton virus definitions. Its kind of a pain, but at least its free. They usually release a new definitions once a month or so.
