i was woundering if anyone had any facts about KFC'S chickens cuz i am debating if they should be closed or not for that reason...so and 411 plzz do tell.

I don't know what authority you have to "shut them down" but, yeah, there are charges made by PETA that their is animal cruelty. But then again, this is PETA!

Saw it on the telly and decided t boycott the chain... Then again, I'm in the UAE and everything slaughtered here is HALAL, which should mean that chickens get it quite quick enough not to suffer...dismissing the thought of animal cruelty.

What do you want them to do, give their chickens a sedative, a newspaper and recliner before wacking them? Its hard to figure out how one abuses an animal that can literally live for hours and even days in some cases after their head has been lopped off.

What difference does it make they are yard birds, how does anybody determine if there is abuse involved, if a person is killed by a lion does his fellow lions criticize him for being abusive or is it just food

yes, i have heard the KFC torture their chickens before they kill them. ever since the day i found that out, i have not eaten KFC chicken. and i will NOT eat the chicken either. i only eat bojangles chicken now, which it tastes better anyways!

Does not bother me I butcher chickens every year. Dead is dead. Chicken is chicken.all part of the food chain.
