Yes, in moderation. Tea has a small amount of caffeine, but has loads of antioxidants that are great for you.

Also, just for the record, the decaffeination process actually removes most of the antioxidants, so caffeinated is better in moderation.

Herbal tea is another story. There are so many great herbal teas, even ones made for pregnancy. Health food stores have a great selection usually, and most don't have caffeine except the ones made for energy.

tea doesn't have as much caffeine as coffee does and has loads of antioxidants which are great for you. So if you only have 1-2 cups of tea (or any caffeinated drink) a day then it is perfectly fine to have.

I pretty much only drink tea and switch to de-caffeinated whilst pregnant and I can't tell the difference. Same goes for the occasional coffee I have.

Go decaffeinated and you can't go wrong! That way you still get all the antioxidants.

Hi vinee, It depends upon the type of tea you have ma.

My great grandma would prepare medicinal teas for pregnant ladies. I have seen it. But today those days are gone.

Don't drink the tea that we normally have. I heard people telling that it will make the baby's skin darker. Regular tea drinkers will have a tough time to skip it. But think of the welfare of the baby.

TAKE CARE.

I would be careful...
When I was pregnant, there were particular teas to stay away from... yes, some have caffeine, but the herbal ones are the ones that are so questionable... ask your doctor.

Hey there i dont think tea will do much harm, in moderation. The only thing tea does is that it stops you from absorbing iron, try drinking herbal and decaf.
