epson printer CX2900 problem?

two of the ink cartridge are empty i only have black and yellow.. can i still print text using the black ink? the computer says i need to replace the other cartridge in order for me to print.. error message always appear..

nope. epson sucks in that aspect, unlike hp printers, epson won't allow you to print with empty cartridges or blank slots for cartridges. either buy one or have them refilled.
