A guy shot my cat in the head. I saw him do it, had him arrested, convicted in court (and suing him in civil court now) and want to make sure everyone knows what he did without exposing myself to a libel suit. Can I legally post his name and address saying what he did on the web for everyone to see so that they know what kind of person he is?

Because what he did is the truth, you can absolutely post what he did - it's like if the newspaper printed an article about what happened to your cat - no problem!

Your defense is he was convicted, so it is true! Have fun.

I don't think it is libelous because you are stating what he was convicted of and apparently did. It could be that you are violating his privacy and acting in a harassing manner by trying to punish him further.

No, it's not libelous.

Truth is an absolute defense to defamation.
