yes he is war's criminal, and he violate all International Laws, and laws formed under the Iraqi Constitution.

1- he did one of the best country in the world (that before 2003 of course).
2- he was able to feed more than 20 millions of iraqi people although that the boycott of all the world against Iraq and that was for more than 12 years.
3- he did punch his own son for the mistake he did against the Iraqi people.
4- he tried all the time to keep Iraq as one country.
5- he was giving the education and the health care for all the Iraqi people as well as the arab people for free.
6- he had supply all Iraq with electricity and clean water for 24 hours per day.
I wish that what was mentioned above gives a clear example for how much Saddam was a war's criminal.

He was bad but did nothing to legally justify the attack on Iraq by America, this was a trick by dual nationality Israeli/Americans who work in the White House.

He was a hard man but I think America is discovering that Iraq is a hard place to govern

No antisemitism intended but the link provided by koytox1a is by a Jewish American. The real truth is Saddam fired skuds at Israel and Israel took him out using American lives and money (Estimated as $2 trillion)- (see link 3)

He violated Human Rights for sure.
And I think his use of chemicals during Iran-Iraq war was a violation of International Laws also.

What ever laws he violated, he is second to Bush. Bush should be tried for war crimes and after his conviction he should be executed.

He gassed the Iranians. Much of his other crimes were against his "own" people.
