I know this doesnt sound important this will be my 4th child and my fiancees 1st. He would like Thomas, wheres i would like Oliver. Now i dont have easy pregnancies or labours/births. I feel i should be able to choose Oliver if we did have Oliver than his name would be Oliver Thomas Andrew, or it would be Thomas Andrew Oliver

Please give me your input

Well, I like Thomas Oliver, but that wasn't one of the choices.. If I had to chose between your choices only, I'd chose Oliver Thomas, because the two go together well, and throwing Andrew in the middle kind of tips things off..
but, it is his first child.. I would hate to see you guys break up over this!

Why don't you draw a name from the hat, or something silly like: If you're due on Dec 15th, say IF he comes EARLY you get your name, IF he comes LATE and I have to carry him longer, then I get my name =)

Good luck with this, and I hope this pregnancy is easier on you then the rest.

I like Oliver Thomas Andrew because Thomas and and Andrew are too common as first names but you don't hear so many Oliver's running around.

I also think that whilst yes, you are the one being pregnant and labouring and birthing the child, he also has to live with it and call it that name for the rest of his life too so he should get some sort of say in it. I completely understand that you have to do all the hard work but he is the dad and that counts for a lot in my book and comes with its own set of challenges.

Good luck deciding but I still think that Oliver would be the nicer first name so you win in my book, lol!

I understand why you would want a say in the name but like you said its your partners 1st and if you not having anymore then you may have to lean his way , as you did have say with the other 3 . but I do know how you feel .. Im on baby 4 and 23.3 weeks also , my hubby wants a name i dont like lol so he has the middle name... so far our boy is Owen James ..
If I had to choose though id choose Oliver Thomas Andrew.. Bearing in mind that if he is called Thomas then it will most likely get shortened to Tom ! I like names that people cannot shorten :)
Good Luck with everything , Im due April fools day hehe

I love the way Oliver Thomas sounds. Have you told him the way you feel about having hard pregnancies and labor? Maybe he will just pick Oliver also.

I like Oliver Thomas Andrew better it rolls of the tongue more naturally! Thomas Oliver Andrew, TOA, Seems kinda like toe and grade school kids can be really cruel! Good luck with the naming battle. I won mine cause the womb demon battled his way out of MY loins and not my husbands! LOL

Personally, I find Oliver more appealing. It's not a name you hear everyday, whereas Thomas you hear quite often. But then again this is his first child, maybe letting him pick the name wouldn't be so bad. Who named your other 3?
