I don't think there should be a set gap. I know couples that were really close in age that have a great marriage, and some that don't. Personally my husband is 32 years older than me, and I wouldn't change that fact for anything! I love him dearly and wouldn't imagine being with someone of another age.

you can not put an age on love. the age you are when you are truly in love with each other and make that commitment to one another is the right age. never let age or anything else come between you and your happiness.

Before, I thought that men should be older than women. But now, I think women should be older by 5 to 7 years old than men.

the gap 3-4 yrs is the best.as d older one (more matured) can take care of the young one.

I'm 6 months older than my husband and we get along great! we grew up with the same things and have a lot in common. but my grandmother is 13 years younger than my grandpa and they still have a wonderful relationship... so i guess it depends on the couple...i've known girls who marry much older guys these days and end up in a divorce...
