i swear, i was just watching sports center right now, and they said how jason kidd sat out tonights game, and said he had a migraine headache. But it was reported that he is demanding a trade, or a contract extension. They said the nets have been talking to the mavericks and the lakers.

have any one else heard this. I swear i just heard it on sportscenter right now. What are the chances of the lakers getting kidd?

Lakers won't trade for Kidd at this point, although it is possible. If they trade for Kidd, signing Derek Fisher would be pointless. Plus, they have Farmar who's emerging as a solid PG and Vujajic who is a great shooter as the two-guard. Kwame will be included in a trade. He won't be resigned next year (stated in the news). Turiaf won't go too. He has a great relationship with his teammates.

I haven't heard any Jason Kidd to the Lakers rumors yet but I wouldn't be all too surprised. Not sure how the Lakers would be able to match Kidd's contract with New Jersey. Obviously it would have to start with Kwame's expiring contract. From there, the Lakers could look at including Vladimir Radmanovic & Jordan Farmar (may also include future draft picks). I'm not so sure that would be enough for the Nets to trade Kidd away.

Yeah I heard that too but I don't know if i'd give up Turiaf and Kwame. Who would take care of the paint if Bynum is tired? Mihm can't do much with his bum ankle. I'd rather give up J. Crittenton, Mihm, Coby Carl, Sasha V. Turiaf is awesome and Kwame is a tough guy even though he's not too strong offensively. I really doubt that the lakers make a move unless they can get a big bargain for Kidd. Maybe some first round picks or something.

The swirling trade rumors are not new - he was going to LA in a deal when Kobe was whining in the off-season - but the Nets will only deal if they can receive a sweet package of players/draft picks. This is a situation where the player has zero leverage.....the season is well under way and he has a valid contract.

And ESPN is oftentimes worse than two drunken fans in a bar at 2 am that are talking nonsense when it comes to "hot rumors." The talking heads with bad hairplugs have proven over the years to run with anything at anytime (recent examples, The Mort Report and Eli Manning's injury and Herbie the Buckeye and Les Miles) regardless of the real validity.

this rumor is interesting, yet additionally unhappy if it is going down. i too think of that j-kidd will fit completely in with the lakers. he could desire to be purely what they could desire to make a force deep into the playoffs. whether im no longer too prepared on thinking of who between the group they're going to supply up for him. i dont opt to work out jordan circulate because of the fact he could desire to be the lakers' destiny megastar factor defend. actual everyone seems to be usually asserting how andrew bynum is going to be this enormous megastar yet i dont have lots faith in him and that i in my opinion want kwame because of the fact the beginning center. aaron mckie is previous and has had next to no playing time this season so he can circulate. chris mihm is an remarkable center, yet we already have lots and that i agree his harm is a criminal accountability such as you pronounced. sasha vujicic is a superb defender, yet he doesnt look like he suits into the triangle ok and is extremely inconsistent on offense. the lakers are a very youthful group and having the veteran j-kidd are available in could desire to probably spark something relatively beneficial for each individual.
