Actually to avoid more underage drinking and deaths from drunk teens, the age should be raised higher. I hate to say it but too many kids are not able to handle the responsibility of drinking, even many adults are not able to, but the older the limit is, the less likely there will be 16 years olds thinking they can drive drunk.

Drinking laws don't really seem to matter, but... in my opinion, 21 year olds aren't even mature enough in a lot of ways to drink legally let alone 18 year olds. Maybe the better word is "responsible". Can't say I'm biased though because I'm 20, but that's the truth.

Sometimes I feel like the drinking age should be over 21 because too many kids drink & drive and kill people.

You're waaaaay too irresponsible at 18 to be drinking legally.

I'm 21 p.s.

21, common scenes, 18 year old's get beer because they hang out with 21 year old's that will buy for them, if you lower the age to 18 then you would be exposing the 16 year old's to a better chance at getting alcohol.

How is it you can be trusted to die in the field of battle for your country but not be trusted to consume alcohol?! Or vote for your representatives in government?

Unless they raise the minimum age for enlistment and the voting age,it'd be hypocrisy.
