Let me give you a mans perspective, at least mine, on this whole situation. We do not want you to buy us anything. We would be perfectly happy getting you, only wearing a bow wraped around you on Christmas morning. Its a man thing. However we are gonna spend a lot of money on you for christmas. So, just sit back and let him spoil you. Good luck.

Coookies maybe? I don't know WHY I said that, really.

Try to keep it simple but useful. A SMALL piece of jewlery is always nice.

Remember THIS about a gift to be remembered and appreciated, he MUST have access to it and use it in his daily routine. A money clip, a cellphone holder, a custom license plate, a custom calendar made online using your early family photo history. Don't forget to have one made SMALL to fit on his desk at work. These are ALL inexpensive, personal, and are used and/or seen each day by him.

P.S. After the first week of use DO NOT ask him about the gift again. Let HIM tell you if he is so inclined.

Could you give him something that means something without spending too much money? For example, a collage of pictures of your times together or put together a couple of CDs with songs that are important to you..

how about making him something special? like a special dinner and putting on a special outfit? like one he can take of :) lol.

or making a special card? one that you cut paper, draw on the outside or paint on it, then write by hand inside the card of how much you love him.

or spending quality time with him outside your environment.
oh, you know what? how about a card that allows him to get anything he wants ( full body massage, servant day) something like that. Maybe he will appreciate that.

think back to when you where kids... then find a nice, simple toy that WILL make him smile... like a MATCHBOX CAR, or a neat magnet toy... or a small LEGO thingee...

most men like toys... a model car of a car that he likes...

You could buy something for YOU for him. It might spice things up a bit. Lingerie or toys or something.
