I am 31 and still get carded when I buy my husband his cigarettes, not because of the law, they flat out tell me I look about 16. Which is weird because my husband is 38 and looks a good ten years older than that. Odd couple I guess. He doesn't think I look that young, but I hear it from EVERYONE. It even impedes on my job, I manage 2 assisted living facilities, sometimes when marketing with our nurse (she's 43) people mistake me for her teenage daughter. In 20+ years I will really appreciate this.

Depends who's judging me! Usually a younger person will think I'm younger than I am and an older person will think I'm older but only by a couple of years so I'm not bothered. If it was more than 5 then i would start to worry!!

I'm 54 but people swear I'm lying since they say I look around 35. It's great now, but when I was 20 and looked 13 I couldn't get a date.
People have a fixed idea of what different ages should look like, but it just doesn't work that way; your question has proved that.

No. I'm 23, but I often get asked for I.D when I buy cigarettes. I come from Scotland, where you need to be 16 to buy tobacco products, so that means some people think I look 15. I don't think I've ever bought alcohol or went to a club without being asked for I.D.

No I look about 6 years older and come across that way. But after getting to know me people have said I'm a couple years younger than my age in personality. They call me a lady killer cause I kill them ladies

Yes but must admit was delighted last week when my friends daughter thought I looked years younger than her Mother, were both the same age. That did make my day.

I usually look quite a bit younger. Depends what I wear and how I do my hair...but off campus people think I'm about 15 or 16.

Im 23 and i am always being asked for ID when buying alcohol or fags even when the age restriction was 16! I can aslo get on the bus for free in london

i'll be 56 a week from today. up to about age 45 or so, i was told i looked younger. the other day, i was offered a senior discount (for people 65 and older, lol.) oh, well....
