I really love the whole skull/crossbones thing and my mom bought about 5 yards of sheer material with skulls on it.. The thing is that we have NO idea what to make with it? Anyone have any suggestions??

The material is like whats pictured below. Thanks for your help!

Do you know how to sew? Try sewing the fabric onto a blue jean skirt for a cute, flirty look. I had some sheer polka dot fabric and sewed (and RUCHED) it to the bottom of a short blue jean skirt. It looks really cute and you can basically get a new look out if just a sewing machine and some fabric.

Also, you can try to decorate your room with it. Lay it over your dresser drawer, mirror, or shelf. It's looks pretty and it's an inexpensive way of getting "new" furtuniture.

Another way of using fabric is to decorate presents! With christmas coming up you can add bows to boxes or use it as cute tissue for covering it up.

How about making a headband with it? All you need is a plain, sturdy headband( maybe white since your fabric is sheer AND white) and a hot glue gun(tacky glue SUCKS and is NOT good for long-lasting hold). Just cut your fabric to fit the headband and glue. Wait for about a hour to let it cool off.

-Curtain rods. Just wrap the fabric around your curtain rod and let the ends hand loose.

-Scarf for your pup!

-Scarf for your hair.

Well hope this helps.

Well, there are several things you can do with that much fabric:
-cover a closet door with it.
-take a mirror, take some wood (same shape as mirror and slightly bigger) cover the wood with the fabric, attach the mirror on it.
-cover some boxes or a box with drawers with it and put on your desk/make-up stand to go with the mirror
-make clothing out of it
-did I mention bedcurtains already?
-did I mention curtains already?
-make coverings for chairs with it
and many more things. I'm sure you think of something once you get started :)

Sheers are fun because they change the look of whatever it's paired with. Try it over different colors of solid fabric and then make a cool scarf, skirt or do-rag.
