I just want to hear you chime in or shout out if you want there to be PEACE in the world.

I would ask to those who don't want peace or don't think it's possible or basically don't care to just don't say anything.

This question is for those who truly want PEACE for our planet.

Sound good? OK!

GO!

Peace is unachievable. The reason is actually pretty simple. Its because every ones idea of peace is different. An many peoples idea of peace, conflicts with every one elses idea of peace. Now if wanna go even deeper than this, we can do that. Every living thing on earth survives only b/c of its willingness to kill or live off the death of something else. Mother nature is a ***** on wheels. An we, humans, are a product of mother nature.

So when I here people like yourself say things like that, it makes me laugh. What you want is unachievable. So rather than waist my time and do something foolish, im not going to wish for peace. Im going to wish for the biggest, baddest, smartest, meanest mother ****** man kind has to watch over me and what I see as peace an the reason is b/c un like wishing for peace, thats the one thing, that has ever protected and gave peace to at least, a few...

Besides this, if peace did exist, true honest to god peace, would we truly be better for it? I mean, everything ive ever learned about myself came in times of conflict, physically and emotional. Life would grow stagnant. Peace is best if it came in waves. Without out it, life wouldnt be worth living, but when there is nothing but peace, we wouldnt grow as people or as society.

Dude, I can't help but not say anything. Of course I want peace but... think about this:

"A promise is not enough; we need a contract. Doors are not enough; we have to lock and bolt them. The payment of fares is not enough; tickets have to be issued, inspected and collected. Law and order are not enough; we need the police to enforce them." (J. Stott - Basic Christianity)

"And yet we run and run and run and play hide and seek, and we keep telling eachother that somewhere around is this utopia; and we deny the reality, live in fantasy and say 'someday we will find this peace that we want on earth,' and you look around us and from violence on the football fields to violence in airplanes, to violence in comittee meetings, to violence on the battles of war we are still struggling, denying reality, refusing to come to the grips of the fact that God has diagnosed the problem: we are too possessed by ourselves." (Ravi Zacharias)

The only cure is Jesus Christ and he said that unless a man is born again, he cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven (John 3). People must become born again, which means they become new creatures with new desires and a new heart (Ezekiel 36). The only way for there to be peace on earth is for Jesus Christ to rule and to crush all those who refuse to repent, practice evil deeds, and live for themselves.

i'd like people to be nicer but, true peace is boring, because humans have these weird and fun ticks where we lash out at each other... sometimes the scale of this anger gets blown out of proportion a little but that happens. excitement is not all that peaceful

that's solutions like Michael C.'s that shows that worldwide(huge) peace isn't available...anger and strife is a factor of human nature... worldwide peace could desire to start up from the backside for it to artwork its thank you to the precise. have you ever been offended at somebody? that's no longer a non violent innovations-set. that's only like that between international locations...there'll continually be conflict and prejudice...that's human nature.

Yes , i wonder why we should hate and fight each others . we are all prothers live on one planet under one sky . why we don't want to be united humanitiy , united civilization ,united hearts .
not many people who believe on this ideas . when I told my friends this, they accused me that I stand together with the enemy !
Why always imagined enemy even if not found ?
Why not make sufficient efforts to know each other and remove misunderstandings ?
Yes, we can achieve PEACE but unfortunately not many people work hard to because they dont want it truely . but there are few people like me try hard to exit of the dark tunnel.
thanks yahoo

i think the " peace " world is known as the perfect society. i agree wth your idea. i believe that will not happen or exisit. if humans were not fighting with each other, the problem would not be sloved. because the environment is also causing lots of problems. one of the obvious problems is Gobal warnning.
