Okay I am assuming you meant July 4Th if so you are a cancer, which are highly emotional people you require alot of love and attention. If his birthday is Feb. 4 that makes him an Aquarius and honey they are a piece of work, everything is always about them. Really you should actually look into it yourself although your signs may not be a perfect match you can still make it work if you know a little more about the person as a whole. It does not hurt to look into some astrology books. On the other hand if everything is great then it really does not matter what his parents think. The best thing to do is read some astrology books they're always good things you guys can have in common just because your signs do not match does not mean it will not work. After reading some astrology point out to his parents the good qualities of your signs combined. try yahoo horoscopes and go to love astrology matches enter both of your signs and you will be surprise. It is always good to have knowledge when some one thinks they know everything.

While I do enjoy reading astology, I do notice that different books say different things. Do a bit of research and find a book or two that say you are a good match. Maybe one that says his parents are not compatable too...just for fun! lol

Whle you must respect his parents' beliefs, there is no reason to assume that you or your partner has to believe in them too. You must hold to your own way of belief. How people are in real life is much more telling than anything that could be guessed from astrology or similar systems of divination.
