And I'm only planning on drinking moderately when I do. I usually don't drink much.

It might be a good idea to call the pharmacist that filled your antibiotic prescription to see how long the antibiotic stays in your system... I know that Levaquin, for example, stays in your body for 3 days after you're done taking the pills.... so, therefore, it would be a good idea not to drink for another 3 days....

Drinking alcohol will dehydrate you.
Theoretically you should not be drinking alcohol while you are on the antibiotics - although there are some antibiotics you can get away with.

next time try cranberry juice lay of the booze you don't need it drink water to flush out your system ( gf had it ) cranberrypills also work my increasing the acidity of your system there by killing the infection

wait another day or two, and then moderately...Drinking can BE the cause of this you know...very hard on your bladder and kidneys.
