super easy, but keep getting like .5 which didn't seem right. here it is: 1350= -4.9t^2 + 250t

I've been working with quadratic equations all night... and hating it!

I came up with 6.13857 using the quadratic formula.

If you substitute 0.5 in, it won't work at all. If you are trying the quadratic formula, make sure you have all terms on the same side of the equation. A "t "value around 6 looks more likely.
