I see you now for what you are, Not what I thought you to be, I don't understand why I took your hand - It's coldness hung over me. If you do use it, please put, "By Alex Karl" at the bottom :) I do want the world to discover my writing. It's hard being anonymous and wishing you weren't. In reply to the person who snidely put, 'I don't want any credit, unlike others' - obviously they are not planning on building a career mostly based in writing, therefore do not know the tremendous difficulty in getting your name recognised when so many other brilliant writers have already been deservingly glorified. I ask for nothing in this life except that I may make a small mark on the world, something to be remembered by, and the only way I know how is through writing. I want to change people, move them, through what I write. If I make a difference in even one person's life because a poem has inspired them, then I will ask for no more credit and be content. It's hard to explain, but it's hard knowing that unless you write something fantastic then you'll slip from the world as unknown and unremarked as the life of an ant to an elephant.
