Well, I didn't take 18 credit but knew a lot of people that did. Which classes are you taking? Some courses are a lot easier than others, and your class schedule will help you figure out if you can do it or not. Do you have any classes with labs, like Physics or Chemistry? Labs can take up lots of time.

I'd go for it if your highly motivated and have a relatively easy class load. But if your taking Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics and Intro to Electrical Circuits, you probably won't want to try 18 credits.

I took between 19 and 21 credits every semester from my Sophomore through Senior year. I did better those years than I did taking 16 credits as a Freshman.

I took 21, while taking care of my children and working. I got A's in all of the classes but one it was a B+. I did okay!!

I do and is harder!!! always tired and asleep additionally i have to dropped one course cause the time not was sufficient.
my advice don't do that but if you wanna try, remember the sky is the limit!!! i study industrial microbiology
