I don't really have a "usual"... When I go to a Chinese restaurant it is usually to try a new dish so I can go home and attempt to prepare it myself. I guess I really do have a usual after all it's just that it's something new every time.
I do, however, have an affinity for The Emperor's Soup and Shrimp with Lobster sauce.
My first reaction was to say something like sweet and sour kitten for a laugh but... I beg your forgiveness that comes from too many years of association with my younger brother.

My first choice is always egg drop soup, crab rangoons, and cashew chicken.
If there is a buffet, I also like egg rolls, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, Lo Mein, orange chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan and just about everything else on there except shellfish, which I am allergic to.

Your choices are all excellent. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorites.
I also like shrimp with garlic sauce, steamed dumplings sometimes... The take out place nearby does a great veggie dish with those small purple eggplants. I lean toward the hot and spicy stuff.

We would start with Prawns , then Chow Foon, Cha Sill with steam rice and end with the soup.........
I like won ton soup then I like to add condiments to make it Hot or Sweet and Hot.......
If we were able to be in Chinatown at Lunch time we would have Dim Sum and Tea
Maybe order a Duck for later.........it hard to fine but seaweed soup is great and I miss being able to order it ....Only a few places makes it like my mother-in-law.
