Whe is television going to show our children some respect?

You can not turn on network television anymore, without the sit-coms making references to the size of a woman boobs or some other sexual material. Many of these shows come on while the youth of this nation are still awake.This garbage has even found it's way into advertisements. Watch closely next time. You'll see. I only began noticing when my oldest little girl was born. ABC is owned by Disney (a childrens company, historically). yet many of their television shows are raunchy and sex infested. How do you feel?

There are a few older TV shows that my children watch that are from my youth. You may want to see if you can find the seasons for them. We cut our cable off when we noticed our son behaving agressively towards us over certain issues (like not wanting to go outside because the bombs would kill him...this happened shortly after the world trade bombings). I have found that the cartoons "Gargoyles" and "Thundercats" great for children, yah sure they may be a tad violent, but they arn't driven by modern TV's need to be sex icons.

i wasn't aware was the television's job to raise children. that is why shows have ratings, if you don't want your kids watching something, block it. but there is no reason that network prime time should be filled with children's programing. try ABC family maybe.
