because people are just simply silly.......they focus more on what others, "think", instead of thinking for themselves, and being sensible. If its cold weather, of course, you dress for the occassion, be Warm!! If they want to look foolish and idiotic, let them, thats what I say. I wouldn't even worry about it. I have this nice fur looking hat it keeps me so warm in the winter and I just laugh at the "cool" kids when they are freezing outside. I find it very funny.
