Density is what allowed life to float in the oceans. And the chemicals that were the basis of life.

Density is what keeps our water from flying off into space. (Look at Mars.)

Density is why our atmosphere is breathable at the surface of the Earth.

Density is why our world isn't a uniformly hot world covered with molten magma. We live on a rocky crust that, due to densities, is actually FLOATING on a sea of lava.

Density is a very important property of matter. It is mass per unit volume. It is improtant in construction, ship building, military and other areas.
