My aunt is 51 years old and has never had kids...and according to her, never wanted any. Which is funny because she took over raising me when my grandfather died; which, according to her, was her "duty." She never failed to remind me of this.

Go figure.

There are a surprising number of women in their 40's and 50's that have never had any children because of not wanting to and can not have children.

If you are asking because of personal reasons there is no disgrace in not having a child/ren and you are still as much as a woman. In the cases of breast cancer and the woman having to have her breast removed to save her life, she is no less a woman because of it and the vast majority of the time will be as loved if not even more loved. The same goes with not having being able to have a child.

Yes one of my friends. She had a miscarriage when she was 22, and it made such a mess of her insides that she ended up having a complete hysterectomy.
