Positive first response early result test, but after time limit.?

Question

I know you shouldn't read tests after a certain time, but I've never had one be negative then turn positive later (and it is still positive). It doesn't look like evaporation lines, its the same color as the control line, just a little lighter. It happened 2 nights in a row. Then I started bleeding, different from a period and 6 days late. Not sure if its a chemical pregnancy or what. I'm still having pregnancy symptoms, but I know your body can play tricks on you. I have an appointment for next week to get blood tested, I just wondered what you thought.

Personally,I've had other test but not First Response turn after the 10 minutes.I want to tel you it's a positive because I've never gotten an evaporation line from FR.So I wanna say Congrads.BUT wait and see what the blood test say,just to confirm.

Is it possible that the Target HPT detects hCG at lower levels than the one you took in the morning? It's really unusual to get false positives from hpts...Although - I belive your story. I just wish you were PG - so I'm hoping for the fact that maybe the target tests were correct and the one you used the next morning was wrong. The only reason I would think this to be true is because my Doctor (and many other doctors) have told me that it's unlikely to get a false positive but very likely to get a false negative... I'm sorry you had to go through this at any rate...I wish you luck in the future. TTC#1 4 mos

Wow, the box normally says not to trust it after ten min...take the test wait three mins. and whatever it says at three or four mins is your answer! But those are not 100% so the doctor is the best person to find out! I have had two kids so far and at the beginning I took at least five tests before I went to the doctor! My second child just turned two months!!! That's all I have to say right now, try that and see what happens-do not let your mind play games with you about the symptoms...it happens to the best of us!!! Hope this helps you!!!

It's not going to turn positive if your not preg. No matter how long it's been sitting there. Take a test and check it right away. I think your preg. Hopefully the bleeding isn't something to be too concerned about. Not sure how much you bled but good luck.

Pregnancy tests are more often false negative than false positive. Usually you are pregnant, but just aren't far enough along for a strong positive. Try again in a couple days.

It's a tricky situation. Next wek you will know for sure. Blood tests are usually 99.99% accurate. Hope you are using birth control. If you are not there is plenty of help out there on how to get some without your parents having to know. I've got my fingers crossed that this is just a mistake!!!! Keep the faith sweetie!!!!!!!

when you have a test, like that and really want to know the answer it is excruciating, but your best way to know the truth is by blood test you will have to wait. any thing could be going on a guess from any will be just that a guess,

i've saved all my pregnancy tests and they have never changed. If they were negative, they stayed negative and if they were positive they stayed positive. So, i'm thinking you're pregnant.

a friend of mine took a test and it did the same thing, she was in fact preg. it is normal to lightly bleed in the beg. of ur preg. In my opinion...you are preg.

MINE DID THE SAME AND I WAS VERY PREG.....MINE ALSO BARELY SHOWED UP ON THE TEST AND HAD TO GET BLOOD TEST DONE TO VERIFY I WAS PREGGERS!!
