I know I did. I had a heart attack 18 months ago. I remember the EMT asking if they could cut off my shirt and thinking "Why do they want to do that". The next thing I saw was a view looking down on myself and the EMT....as he cut off my shirt and prepared to shock me with the "paddles". The next thing I remember was being rolled into the ER.

Yes. I used to do it several times a week, wide awake at work, and only at work. I had no control over it, I would just suddenly find myself floating up at the ceiling in the department store I worked at in college. There was never any jerking or shaking as others describe, I was just suddenly up there, and it was always a feeling of "man, what am I DOING up here again?", lol. I would look down and see myself talking to people, it was bizarre. I could also see people across the store in other departments and what they were doing. But after a few minutes, I would snap back into my body - whenever the feeling changed to "I better get back down there". Since it never happened anywhere else, I always wondered what it was about that department store. It was SO strange.

well i dont just feel im leaving my body, but i actually do, i dont know why it happens as i dont have control over it, but it has been happening since i was a child, ive never really researched it, but only talk from experience... for those that dont believe in out of body experiences, trust me and others when they say, there is a huge difference, between dreaming, and actually finding your self out and about in spirit form...its quite an amazing feeling.... the first stages of disconnecting can be quite uncomfortable, alot of shaking, and the feeling of distortion, vibrating, it just feels very different, as the other person in the last question asked about leaving your body and all the strange feelings they felt......
how ever there are times when you just find your self out of your body, without going through all the shaking, etc, this is where most people will panick, as the shaking can be quite voilently, and force themselves to stop, (you arent quite asleep and still have control over your movements)......this year alone ive had 4 real beautiful journeys, one place in particular, it was just so stunning, but i dont know where it was, i have drawn a picture of it, and hopefully one day ill come across it over the net or something...... there are ways you can learn how to do this or to have control, but ive never really had to look into it, im happy with the experiences i already have had, and im sure there will be lots more magical journeys to come....(thats what i like to call them, magical journeys)......it gives you the real feeling of spirit in flight..........
