I cry when I see or hear of people doing good deeds for others. Last night we drove around the neighbourhood to look at all the christmas lights and I started crying because these people don't HAVE to put up christmas lights, they do it for other people's enjoyment and so little kids can get excited and happy. Its just soooo sweet that people will be so kind to each other. How does it make you feel?

Wow, yes! I thought I was the only one! I volunteer at the AIDS Foundation, and I found out today that one of our regular donors is going to donate 1000 bicycles for our annual toy drive! I teared up when I read the email. I just couldn't help it.

I also cried when I saw that "Free Hugs" video on YouTube. Here's the link if you wanna check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4

It makes me feel good to know that in this day and age, there are still people that are more concerned about others' welfare than they are of their own.

I do... That's why I can't watch certain stories on the news...

Today I heard this story about a newborn baby that needed a blood transfusion but it was really complicated like whomever they got the blood from was a rare blood type and they had to be a match for something... and this older lady donates blood as often as she can because she heard that 1 out of every 3 people will need a blood transfusion... And the newborns parents started losing hope and it turned out the lady saved the baby.... I seriously got goosebumps because the parents were on tv crying and thanking the lady... She didn't do it out of guilt she did it because she sincerely wanted to help another person...

I actually understand what you mean. It's kinda nice to see that someone else feels like I do. I don't mean to be all sappy and emotional...things just hit me a certain way..such as humanitarian efforts. I totally agree with your feelings. It's so sweet and makes me really understand how many good people are still left in the world. It's nice to see someone else appreciate the little things as well. :-D

I admit that when people do outstanding, above and beyond things for others, it really gives me a lump in my throat! I hear so many negative things in this world that turn me off and make me angry, I often find relief in feeling a different emotion like happiness or appreciation for my fellow man or women. Especially just hearing or seeing that they have done something for another person without prejudice or selfish or self centered needs. God created man to help one another, and to give each of us the choice to do so. And when someone makes that God Given choice, I commend them with all my soul!

Not usually but as I get older I noticed that I cry a lot more about things like that than I used to.

I do, I admit it!
I am such a sap, my husband laughs at me all the time because I am emotional. Not only when people are doing nice things but also when I see sadness.

I am not much on crying, life has been rough and I don't cry that easy, but my heart over flows and it has new hope when I see good nice things happening. I wish the world was more good, than as awful as it is.

Oh yeah, of course I do. Geez, I cried the first time I saw the soap commercial where a penguin who was caught in an oil spill was cleaned off and reunited with his penguin buddy. I felt so pathetic after that, but oddly refreshed.
