I am Sam. That whole movie makes me sad! It's soooo beautifuly sad and what's worse, I saw it on the day my papa died. So I was crying twice as hard. Now, whenever I watch it, I think of him and cry even more! :(

Since the holidays are upon us, I'll cite "Meet Me in St. Louis", which my sister and I watch every year. The family is going to move to New York from St. Louis, and the youngest daughter becomes quite upset about it. She plays her music box (which plays "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"), and then Esther (Judy Garland) sings the song. Then Tootie goes outside in her nightgown and smashes the family's snowmen, all while bawling her eyes out. I could cry RIGHT NOW! I can't wait to watch it this year!

The Notebook, there are too many scenes to count that made me cry. I think I cried through the whole movie. I think I also cried through all of What Dreams May Come.

The end of West Side Story when Tony is shot by Chino as he is running to greet Maria. He dies in her arms ,as he falls to the ground. Maria says "give me the gun. How do you fire this ,Chino? Just by squeezing this little trigger" She points the gun at the two rival gangs and says "Is there enough bullets for all of you and still have one left for myself. You all killed him and my brother and Riff, not with guns and knives but with hate.Well now i to have hate. How many chino"? .Then she crumples to the ground and stars to cry. The police Constable walks over to Tony's body and Maria jumps up and runs over to Tony screaming "DON'T YOU TOUCH HIM". Then she says "Te Adora ,Anton". Then members from both gangs help to carry Tony's body from the playground.
This scene is extremely emotional ,and Natalie Woods acting is very convincing. Made in 1961 West Side Story has stood the test of time.It is ,of course,an update of Romeo and Juliet.in the slums of New York during the 1950s
